Color Club Wonderland Mini Set
October 8th, and this is already the last of the Christmas sets that I have. Of course, Essie comes out this month (according to Mary over at Body and Soul) so they’ll be more Christmas later on.
Yule Love It is a pinky red glitter. This, along with the other two glitters in this set, have bigger glitter than the other China Glaze Christmas polishes. Yule Love It was opaque in two coats.
Under the Mistletoe is kind of a springy green, on the silvery side of green. This was three coats for opacity.
Wonderland is a basic silver glitter, but it was hard to get opacity (this is four coats here).
This is a cute kit – this would make a very nice stocking stuffer for your resident nail polish addict. My favorite is Under the Mistletoe, since it’s just a little out of the ordinary for Christmas green.
As a bit of a bonus, I’ve got the Japanese Limited Edition Pink Glitter that is an exclusive for Victoria Nail Supply.
This is paler than all of the other Japanese glitters out so far for Color Club (I swatched those here). Alone, I used four coats, and then one coat over Color Club What a Drag. There isn’t a ton of color to this polish, so it won’t affect the base much for layering – it provides a really subtle effect. The rainbow effect of the glitter is really pretty. It’s pretty on it’s own, but I don’t like it over my current nail length (shorter is better for VNL on me, I think).
