OPI Ulta Tiny Tinsels
I couldn’t find this set in (two) stores when it was on sale for $4.99, but found it when it was back up to $9.99. Probably a coincidence, but annoying.
Berried in Gifts is a pinkish red with silvery super fine glitter. It’s very much like Smitten With Mittens, and as I said yesterday, I’m kind of over the OPI reds for winter. Smitten with Mittens has gold glitter, and Berried in Gifts has silver, but it actually looks really similar on the nail, just not in the bottle (the gold and silver don’t really translate as much more than just a shimmer).
Amethyst Twist is a lovely purple with pink shimmer. It’s gorgeous, but also exactly the same as Visions of Sugarplum from yesterday. Two coats.
Silver Belles is the silver version of Dazzled by Gold. I thought it might be Brand New Skates (I got a little jaded by this point) but it’s not – Silver Belles is a foily silver achieved by fine silver glitter. This is two coats.
So I basically just paid $10 for a mini-bottle of Silver Belles. I like Silver Belles, but I would be happier if they had named the purples the same name – it’s perfectly normal (and expected) to have overlap in the minis and fulls, just don’t pretend they’re different, you know?

Those all look really nice on you! My favorite is Amethyst Twist… although I’m annoyed that it, Visions of Sugarplums, and FP Icy Iris are all basically the same polish. I would much prefer three unique purples, grr!

Fun!! I really like all those colors! The mini set is so cute… that would make a great gift idea.

But they all look lovely on you! You sounded so jaded by the $9.99 package of dupes by the end of your post I totally was empathizing with you!

I love Amethyst Twist. I’m not ordering any of the OPI reds. I have enough reds.
